It's all about the little things

Runny nose, cold drafts and hot feet is all I've gotten out of winter so far.
Apart from the spiky cold draft I've had to tackle in recent weeks running in and out of school, I have enjoyed sitting down, round the table, with my family drinking streaming hot cups of tea and coffee.
Another year of my life is coming to an end and the new seasons will bloom in all their glory for the new year 2013.

"When primroses and violets gather bluebells underneath your petticoat of shade and the summer breeze will be about your leaves in golden sun brings autumn to give the noblest shade for winters darkest days." - My favorite quote about the changing seasons.
My mother is planning to plant a tree for celebration for the queen's diamond jubilee, so in about 20 years we can visit it and see how its growing to all its glory. She's keeping it on the fridge at the moment for some reason I do not know.

Since Halloween has come and gone, my Mum has been obsessed with keeping hold of some horrific looking pumpkin's, on the odd occasion she would cook some delicious roasted pumpkin for our Sunday lunch and make some creamy pumpkin soup.
Little plastic fairy seahorse got a little lost in there

I can guarantee you I won't be munching on these

Missing those summer clothes

I've spent the whole day splashing paint and sketching due to a very painful arm, I'm not quite sure what's wrong with it but, my mother is pretty sure I've sprained it.
Hopefully I'm going to the doctors on Monday to get it checked out.
I'm currently in my second year of my GCSE's and I've got a lot of coursework to finish during the Christmas holiday, which I' not really looking forward to.
But, to make the most of today I also decided to tidy my room and sort out my wardrobe, I put away all my summer clothes so, It's just full of jumpers, jackets and jeans.

Most of my life bases around photography, art and fashion, I only recently got a new camera for my birthday and I've been going mental for the past 5 months. I'm the kind of person who likes to remember everything and I can't bare thinking that I will forget something or someone that is important to me. I've kept almost every birthday card, every note and keep everything close to my heart. I remember a lot from my childhood as, my first memory was of me crawling in my garden at just 1 and a half years old. I've always been the one that everyone forgets which has made me keen to do the best in life so, no one will ever forget who I am again.

A little photography of my home

Hello dreamers,
It actually feels pretty good addressing you as, it feels like someone's listening even though no one reads these but, after a tough and agonizing day at school once again with out Beverly (she had an all-day ISA test), I was in the mood to walk around my house and take some photos. They're mainly plants, walls and things I like in my room, I can't really expose too much on here because, anyone could be reading this...

Apart from photography, since school ended I've been snuggled up in my cream, cashmere jumper that my lovely grandma just washed for me so, it smells so good at the moment. Also, denim shorts, tights and olive green ugg's; while having a cheeky snack on some delightful Party rings.

I live next to a holly bush, oh yeh

My sophisticated outfits made for winter

This winter as usual, I'm wrapping up in baggy jumpers, boots and hailstones of blankets, I haven't been shopping recently but, lucky I did some pre-winter shopping for my wardrobe.
My favorite pair of boots (below) are from River-Island, I wouldn't say that they're very warm but, they look great with leggings, tights and a fun night out with your friends. The have a slight wedge which gives me some height, (I need it!)  and two zips on either side for when your in a rush and can't wait to get them on.
Jumper and leggings from Topshop,

Chilly winter air and plenty of Art

Today is the second day of December and it was surprisingly sunny with a twist of chilly winter air.

Instead of attending the hand full of parties I was invited to this weekend, I decided to work on my personal scrapbook and get on with a few, of the many art homework's I'm attempting to complete.

Unlike yesterday, the weather was utterly freezing and I struggled to skip in and out of Zizzi's in a short navi dress and wedged boots. Last night, my friends and I celebrated Aimee's 16th Birthday in a wonderful Italian restaurant. I attempted the curl my hair naturally by french plaiting the whole thing and leaving it to dry for 3 hours which, in fact turned out to be a nightmare and went frizzy like I'd seen a ghost.
Apart from having a bad hair day, I honestly had a great night with the majority of my best friends and arrived home with a full belly and more happy memories.

Today, I can honestly say I did myself proud, I completed a few more pages in my scrapbook which I'm delighted to share with you all, enjoy :)

In love with winter

England is beginning to freeze over.
Every night in recent weeks has been surprisingly different... numb toes, warm hands and bundles of blankets keeping out the cold draft, that allows itself through my window panes.
As a summer baby, I'm supposed to enjoy the warmth and loath the cold but, to be honest I'm in utter love with winter, not only is Christmas less than a month away, but I enjoy snuggling in baggy jumpers and furry boots.
I've attempted to run a blog before but, I guess I couldn't be bothered, I'm trying to promise myself that this time I will update it occasionally as, I'm a very bored teenager.
I may consider uploading the basket fulls of diaries I've been keeping on my laptop, so you can all have an insight on what my life is like and how I'm trying to tackle a broken heart at 15 years old.
