Runny nose, cold drafts and hot feet is all I've gotten out of winter so far.
Apart from the spiky cold draft I've had to tackle in recent weeks running in and out of school, I have enjoyed sitting down, round the table, with my family drinking streaming hot cups of tea and coffee.
Another year of my life is coming to an end and the new seasons will bloom in all their glory for the new year 2013.
"When primroses and violets gather bluebells underneath your petticoat of shade and the summer breeze will be about your leaves in golden sun brings autumn to give the noblest shade for winters darkest days." - My favorite quote about the changing seasons.
My mother is planning to plant a tree for celebration for the queen's diamond jubilee, so in about 20 years we can visit it and see how its growing to all its glory. She's keeping it on the fridge at the moment for some reason I do not know.
Since Halloween has come and gone, my Mum has been obsessed with keeping hold of some horrific looking pumpkin's, on the odd occasion she would cook some delicious roasted pumpkin for our Sunday lunch and make some creamy pumpkin soup.
